Miniature atelier projects for dollhouses, roomboxes and dioramas
In dollhouses there are more artists than in the real world. See the pages with art tag.
An atelier is a place where an artist, typically a painter, makes art.
A design studio is for a designer who designs houses, shoes, dishes, clothes... and a craft room is a hobby room for a crafter who makes clothes, scrapbooks, dollhouses.
Men do woodworking, tinker with cars and other hobbies in workshops.

Research/ Inspiration
Tips/Hints
- Create a "real" painting: cut a picture from a magazine or print on. Take a small brush and use decoupage as paint.
- Create brushes from toothpicks
- You can find beautiful paintings from the back page of old wall calendars (e.g. Monet, impressionists...)
- Paintbrushes for an art studio. Cut toothpick to the length you want the brush. Gently round out the pointed end. With a plier - gently - crush the cut end, about 1/8" up from end. Just above the crushed part paint a silver band with silver permanent marker. Paint smooshed end color of paint desired. Paint the balance of the toothpick black. By cutting picks different lengths your paint brushes look real. By using pliers you have the indentations of the pliers teeth that make it look more like bristles.
