In North America, we call them trailer parks or RV parks (recreational vehicle), and some units are permanent housing for residents. Other facilities offer rental units and parking spaces for mobile homes or RV's (recreational vehicles). In Europe, South Africa and Australia they are called caravan parks. Gypsies started out with their colourful wagons, which they used to move from country to country.
