The name dollhouse refers to dolls and dolls refer to human shaped toys. But that is not the whole truth, in dollhouses everything is possible, you can even put yourself to the house: see mini me. Dollhouse hobby is all about using your imagination so go for it! But then again, you can choose not to use any characters at all...
