Village displays are not just for Christmas. Model train enthusiasts build villages for their train systems, often with extensive landscaping. The Lemax company markets for Halloween as well.

QS Littlebourne - our miniature group in Tasmania, The Miniature Enthusiasts of Tasmania Inc held their biennial Dollshouse and Miniature Show and the highlight of our event was the quarter scale village that members had been working on. Not specifically for the village but because we all had enough of the Petite Properties cottages we decided to put together a fictitious English Village called Littlebourne.
