Miniature Steiff toys and other Steiff projects for dollhouses, roomboxes and dioramas

 

The original Steiff toy was an elephant, created by Margarete Steiff as a hobby. She contracted polio as a baby and used a wheelchair. The German company eventually grew to be known for quality plush toys, particularly the Teddy bear, popularized by the American President Teddy Roosevelt.
