Gottschalk dollhouses
The Moritz Gottschalk firm of Germany was the premiere dollhouse maker during the late 19th and early 20th century. Housed in a large toy-making factory in Germany, the Gottschalk company made dollhouses, rooms, furniture and shops from about 1873 to the Second World War, when toy production was interrupted. It began again in 1947.
