This picture is a take on an early Victorian Christmas card.
|
The year is 1854. This beauty is Seine, sitting at her desk, quill pen in hand, a cup of tea nearby, contemplating her Christmas card list, since people were only sending these cards since about 1851. Seine, a ball-jointed doll, her burgundy stole, and the Paris scene behind her which is a privacy screen, are all from Doug James.
