Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe - by Maureen Williams. This wonderful creation features not one, not two, but three different eggs! The artist used an emu egg for the toe and foot part of the boot, and an ostrich egg for the heel. The ostrich egg has two floors, all areas are lit with 9 volt lights (with plug-in adaptor). The front of the boot opens to reveal the nursery with a quail's egg cradle. The pitched roof features wooden shingles. The detailing is fantastic.
